Design Services
Core technology, both from our current product range and from new products in development, is often the starting point for customer initiated custom designs. The group accepts total ISO9001 project responsibility, from initial consultancy, through design and manufacturing, to final product shipment. This work, which constitutes a major portion of our project activity, is usually in support of large primary contractors or government agencies. Typical tasks include the redesign of obsolete disk and/or tape controllers for legacy systems (Legacy System Support) to allow the use of current technology, and the adaptation of existing interfaces or data storage products to recognised industry or defence standards. The Tiger Group addresses the need for ruggedisation, or other enhancement where COTS products are used in critical applications.

The Group undertakes feasibility studies aimed at new or enhanced applications that will utilise products currently in development by partner companies, and by the data storage industry in general. The group continues an aggressive development program for advanced products aimed at rugged and secureapplications.

Product Support Services
The Tiger Product Group offers in-house repair, reconfiguration, refurbishment, and spare part services on the standard Tiger Group product range and on those special products resulting from customer specific design projects. On most products we also offer extended warranty options, together with on-site applications support, training and field maintenance contracts where required. The services include the replacement of older SSD/SSDE products manufactured by Vermont Research, Tiger Technology and Storage Computer (UK) Ltd, where we are able to supply compatible equivalents from our current range.
